Baluch Timuri-Prayer; second half 19th.c.; 82 x 121 cm; beautiful wool and exceptional colours; apart from corroded black and terrible overused stripe crossing rug in middle an really good and special piece for several reasons: blue grounded; nearly no white used in pile; shrub-like trees in centre field in a strong diamond form; hand panels not surrounded from borders but with seldom design similar to border, elaborated made sides and ends which looks only for the first glance like same motive as main border. How could one overuse such beauty in this way….
