Jaf bags are some of the most iconic Kurdish weavings from Northwest Persia. This piece, woven as one of a pair of bagfaces for a set of saddlebags, is interestingly more elongated than most and renders the characteristic field-pattern of latch-hooks in diamonds with no fewer than twelve distinct colors including three blues, two reds, and two greens.
