Ersari (or Uzbek?) torba with very unusual design. i know of only one other piece with a similar design and colors (but with a star border) sold at Rippon-Boswell in 2010 as Uzbek. This one however seems Ersari to me. The repeated motif looks like some kind of curved dagger (Janbiya?). Must have some symbolic significance. This torba has full even pile,fine glossy wool and excellent all natural colors. Size 40 x 145 cm/ 16 x 58 inches.
