Old Banjara Indian Textile known as a "galla" that is used to cover the nape of a Banjara woman's neck. Approximately 9 x 7 inches. This galla is a little smaller than usual. The center field is covered in fine attractive cross-stitch in dark lac-dyed purple, yellow, white, and blue. Traditional Banjara imagery. Beautiful dyes on a lovely diminutive piece.
