Tajik young girl's cap with the traditional "tail" to hide the plait. The cap is heavily embroidered in stripes of cherry red, alternating with white geometric bands, which show the dark ground. The crown has an open work effect, perhaps for coolness.The whole is lavishly decorated with pearl, bone and plastic buttons and the effect is very fresh and cheerful.The cap has been used, but is in excellent condition.
