Tibetan Khaden rug with auspicious bats and scrolling peony pattern. l: 160cm/62in and w: 94cm/37in. Undyed wool warp and weft and the pile may be possibly undyed as well, quite unusual for a Tibetan piece. There is about 3cm/1in rewoven on one head end- noted in enlargements. Vintage circa 1950.
