Two extremely rare Azeri Verneh horse cover fragments. Cm 36x43 and 39x44. Datable to third quarter of 19th century, but, could be even older. Warp is indigo blue and madder red. Pattern with horses and/or peacocks, but imho i would call them Akstafa birds since there have never been peacocks in that area. Please note the well visible blue “bird” and the green one with the baby aside. Rare fragment, rare beauty. See the second fragment as well, also available.
