Nari Kunj double ikat Patola silk Dupatta, Probably Patan Gujarat 1800-1850 Circa. India.This Patola is the rarest designs known as Nari Kunj Patola. This Patola is showing the Popat Kunjar Bhat, Hathi Kunjar Bhat, Ful Kunjar Bhat. Popat means parrot, Hathi Means Elephant and Ful means Flower-blossom.This Nari kunj patola dupatta was mainly used by Brahmin and Jain Communities by unmarried girls in Gujarat.the size of this patola is 210 cms x 135 cms the dupatta has some damages but it has been restored by adding lining cloth at the back.
