Burmese heirloom Shawls: Three very old shoulder cloths “hti paun” for women from a Chin subgroup (Khami, Khumi or Mro) living in the Rakhine and Chin states, west Burma. These are incredibly difficult and intricate pieces to weave, made from hand spun cotton threads. The cloth is quite heavy and sturdy, some minor repairs and fraying but given their age are in good condition. These may be up to 100 years old.
