This first quarter 20th century Jaf Kurd #8037 Oriental Rug measures 3’4” x 2’11”. It is a beautifully drawn full pile Jaf Kurd woven with beautiful Jaf Kurd wool which a kiss away from Angora. There are two diamond medallions on an aubergine ground surrounded by parts of a diamond motif with a latch hook design. The major border has octagon shaped flowers on a dark blue ground which is almost black. The minor border in ivory has a meandering design surrounded by five guard borders with an x motif and a major border which covers the top of the rug ala Turkoman Chuval. The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance
