Composite textile. Ritual use (45x41 cm). Found in Nepal-Kathmandu, in the late 1990s. Composed of three types of textiles assembled with various stitches. The central part of 26x23 cm is an embroidery on net, made with hand-spun silk yarns with a beautiful palette of natural colors: originally it was a burqa mask (18th century). The frame of about 9 cm that surrounds the artifact was made using a Chinese silk brocade with Buddhist motifs / washers-clouds-infinite knot. A very fine silk fabric was used for the rear lining, bearing an inscription probably in Nepali (any translation is very welcomed).
