Back
Early turkman weaving. What remains of an ersari or beshir torba or trapping? Lovely field drawing paired with a beautiful, unusual yellow main border. If you look carefully you will note the top and bottom minor borders go completely selvage to selvage and the yellow borders end and do not continue on top or bottom. Overall very low pile with scattered heavy wear. Reasonably clean. Mid 19th c. or earlier. 16” x 37”
