a very rare South West Persian Khamseh carpet fragment, super fine weave with a perfect rendition of the Mina Khani design we normally see on Kurdish rugs. The border is unique in my experience and shows a row of stylized birds. a beautiful fragment, that should excite the connoisseur. Circa 1800
