Dating to the 19th century, this rare head band (attached on hats) known as Ildirgitchs. It is one of the coveted example of a main dowry jewellery of a Turkoman bride. The quality of the gilded silver work, the meticulously cut outs and the intricate motifs (especially the pin wheel) is just magnificent. a true master silversmith made these rare piece. Often examples we see in the market tend to have newer elements installed in them but to find a complete original piece like this is relatively rare. Not only were they status artefacts, they were also bridal jewellery . It is just brilliant and archaic work of art.
