Antique Afshar, doj Goli i parizi = two flowers from Parizi is the name of the design. 175 x 145 Cm. This Beautiful flamimg red recolls the earlier Caucasion origin of the Afshar. Also the white Talish rozets do and in fact the overall bold design.

The black wool is colored with a plant based dye that naturally contains ironchloride.
This makes the wool in due time brittle, hard, so it wears down to the knot.
