Sparta Carpet 7.10 x 9.10 2.16 x 2.77 An "end of day" carpet with a pile composed of all the yarn bits in the weaving workshop in a never repeating striated tweed effect. This look also appears in certain Peking Chinese carpets and on American Hook rugs. The effect is informal and artistically clever. Totally abstract. No two such carpets are the same.
