Mahal Carpet 8.6 x 12.7 2.62 x 3.87 This shabby chic condition carpet shows a madder field with larger and smaller rosettes, little botehs and chevron-detailed palmettes. The corroded brown border shows a classic turtle palmette design with boteh-style 'fish' leaves. There are horizontal wear channels throughout the field. Circa:1930 (C22943)
