Antique Baluch Rug. Timuri, Sangtshuli. 3rd Quarter 19th Century. This is an early collectors rug. The main border consists of alternating triangles of tulip like three stemmed plants. Bright white medakhyl (medical) minor border frame copper and indigo hexagons. Copper half gols and s add a dragon element to a fluid field. Excellent condition considering age. No repairs. Original four sides. 6 colors. 5’3” x 2’9”. Delicately hand washed.
