Akha Blanket: Lao blanket, acquired in the Northern most province of Phongsaly, 2002, from a small local market. i was told it was Akha but am really not sure as i have no references on textiles from this group. This all hand woven with handspun thread except for the turquoise and possibly red the dyes are natural. l 180cm/70in and 100cm/39.5in.
