An exceptional antique silk and gold woven Imperial Chinese textile possibly early Qing / Ching / Tchin dynasty (late 17th - 18th Century). This is an incredibly fine weaving (possibly some sort of Kesi technique or another prestigious weaving) that shows the design on both sides. Notice around the warrior on horse designs and you will see the gold weaving so fine one can almost see the hand on the other side. The design of Horse men is fantastic with incredible colours. a really rare type of Chinese silk textile, museum grade. Size 31cm x 20cm (12" x 8"). Email your questions.
