19th century Mushwanni carpet 2.77m x 1.33m (9' 0" x 4' 4"), Sistan Province, south-east Persia, with magnificent vegetable colours. Very good overall condition bar some corrosive mordant wear right of upper and central lozenges. The flat-woven skirts are intact - a very collectable carpet for connoisseurs of carpets in the Baluch tradition!
