Unusually still with part of its striped kilim base intact, this mid 19th century Shahsavan mafrash is in original condition, finely woven and with good colours. Some holes, wear and corrosion to the striped kilim base, normal for a mafrash of this age. Size 100cm x 66cm. From a collection of antique kilims, rugs and collectibe textiles found traveling in Turkey in June.
