Shibori is a Japanese term for several methods of dying cloth with a pattern by binding, stitching, folding, twisting, compressing, or capping.

A simple yet striking example, created through a variation of miura shibori, or "looped binding", the indigo pattern appears to dance across the garment. This piece is made from loosely woven cotton and has been dyed with synthetics. Lovely for use in projects, as a decorative accent, or wear.
