Baku Sumack bag face fragment. This is a wrecked but lovely bag face from the region of Baku in Azerbaigian. Size is cm 45x49. Datable to the first half of 19th century. Nice pattern, great colors. Background is cotton. Imo it could be attributed to the Tat nomads of the Surahani peninsula.
