pair of moroccan berber fibulas / brooches These are used by Berber women either as a single pin to hold the front of a cape or sometimes as a pair to pin a shawl which hangs down from the shoulders. They contain a small amount of Moroccan silver and are hand beaten and made. This old pair is from the Berbers of the Djebel Siroua region of the High Atlas and dates from the 1950's.
