Africa! These are three antique wooden mortar pestles from West Africa, most probably from Dogon tribal group. They are great, beautiful, they show long usage and age, glossy shafts and heavy wear on terminals. Approx size is cm 120/130 x 10 ca. each. They were used for grinding grain, spices, manioc, yams, etc. They are fantastic tribal tools, most probably among the oldest in the wood art of Africa.
