Turkmen Chuval, probably an early sub-group of Yomut with great drawing including exceptional minor guls of a type more generally found in Eagle Group pieces. Note how nicely the guls and minors are articulated and how they line up with each other to form a very strong lattice. Wool is supple and velvety and the weave is quite fine as can be seen by the back. Sides are cut but pile is good. 32"x27"
