"Woven words" (sasigyo or sarsekyo - sanskrit: "100 words") ‘sazigyo’ were tablet-weaving of text woven tapes or ribbons used for binding the leaves of palm-leaf manuscripts. “Sasigyo” is a Burmese tablet-woven cord which is used to bind Buddhist scriptures.
