Baluch Main Carpet (detail, Taimuri?), NE Persia, 19th century. An older example of a familiar type, a so-called Taimuri type from NE Pers:a. A border system is missing on either side, so calling it 'fragmented' would be appropriate but the condiiton of the rug is in relatively good condition.
