Fragment of a Salor Main Carpet. This piece is from the 18th century, possibly earlier. In spite of it's fragmentary state, it has an inner glow and prototypical presence that is found in objects of great antiquity. All colors are rich and vibrant. This is a truly rare object and would be the focal point of any Turkoman rug collection. The size of the piece is 40 3/4'' x 38''. Please take the time to view the other pieces in my profile.
