Old Turkish long rug fragment with an interesting striped design and a classic old border. In rough condition with creases, tears, small holes and old moth nibbles. Still a fair amount of good pile. Original selvages, and one flat woven end. Other end cut and old kilim sewn on. All good natural colors including some nice aubergine, strong reds, good old greens, and a very pretty apricot. In "as found" condition, not clean and in need of a good wash. Good age, 1880 or earlier weaving. 3' 5" x 6'
