Small old complete Persian flat woven bag, probably Bahktiari, Both sides with a smiliar ivory ground allover design. Wool colors and the ivory looks to be all cotton. Overall considerable yellowing, small stains, surface abrasion with some of the design almost worn away. All natural colors, no dye run. Original goat hair selvages, rough. Bottom corners rough with tears from use. In "as found" condition, not clean and could use a good wash. Decent age. Late 19th, early 20th c. weaving. 14" x 16"
