Two mafrash end panels, Southern Caucasus (Kazak region?), late 19th cent., about 50 x 47 cms each, slit-tapestry weave; for this type, see Tanavoli, Mafrash, pl. 110 (he attributes this type to Moghan which doesn’t seem right); six colours: two blues, green, brown, red, yellow and lots of undyed cotton; some holes and no repairs (see full image); great visuals.
