One of a pair of old little Turkish flat woven bagfaces with an interesting "waisted" diamond lattice. Pretty good condition with just a few scattered tiny spot of very slight wear. Original selvages and end plain weave. I believe the ivory ground to be cotton, the rest all wool. Colors appear natural with the green probably sulfonic and bluer on the back. A good aubergine purple. The yellow/gold wool is substantially weaker on the face. Selling "as found", not clean and probalby would look better with a good wash. Charming little flat weave, probably late 19th c. app. 14" x 16"
