Mafrash end panel, Southern Caucasus, 51 x 40 cms, glossy wool, colours: the red is unusually dark, in places approaching purple-red, the light blue/green was a dark green (see back side image), golds were also darker; no repairs; a similar border design can be seen in Azadi/Andrews, Mafrash, p. 102; a strangely abstract piece with un-ornamented motifs.
