Old Persian tribal bagface with an unusual design mimicking a flat woven "slit tapestry" weaving. Possibly Luri, or Kurdish origin? Overall good thick medium length pile with very slight wear. Excellent lustrous wool. I see no repairs. Edges good, sides appear original. All good natural colors. Selling "as found", not clean and in need of a good wash. A charming little 19th c. weaving. 16" x 22"
