Pair of mafrash end panels, probably Kazak region, mixed technique – minor borders in sumak and the rest slit tapestry; colours all natural: 2 greens, 2 blues, peach, gold, ivory, brown and undyed cotton; 19th cent; 48 x 43 cms each; for analogy, see Azadi, Mafrash, p. 228; damaged as shown.
