Turkmen Main Carpets

An Exhibition by Seref Ozen at Cocoon, Istanbul

Turkmen weavings were one of the main catalysts for Seref Ozen's interest in rugs and textiles and over the years he has developed a reputation as one of the premier dealers sourcing and offering anything Central Asian. The pieces shown here are a selection from over 30 diverse Turkmen and other Central Asian main carpets exhibeted in the spring of 2007 with accompanying ensis, bags and trappings.
