$Old little Turkish yastik fragment with good design and excellent sturated colors. Very very low pile with scattered wear and oxidation exposing some foundation. Original sides, rough, and missing some at both ends. A crude repair along one side. All natural colors featuring some outstanding old purple. Reasonably clean. Good age, possibly mid. 19th c. or earlier. A survivor. 18\$

Old South Persian bagface with a good design featuring an unusual use of white cotton pile and excellent saturated colors. Overall good thick medium length pile with a spot of very slight center wear. Highest quality lustrous wool. Bottom 5" of the weaving uses a white cotton replacong the ivory wool in the top part of the piece. The bottom 2 "bird" motifs are split partially ivory wool and partially white cotton. No tears, no holes, no repairs. Some original selvage. Ends show minor loss. Reasonably clean. Good age. A 19th c. little jewel. 18" x 26"

# 758 Great Qashqai birds rug, 127/160 cm, Southwest Persia, mid 19th century, all original condition except two small underlaid areas at the bottom, dozens of different (!) bird abstractions, wonderfully drawn white grounded border, the best natural colours and softest wool you can imagine, of course areas of low pile, but for such a museum like piece it is really ok!

CAUCASIAN KUBA KARAGASHLI . 1,33 x 1,07 m (4, 36 x 3, 50 feed). Circa 1880. Very good condition. The ends are professional restored with antique Kilims wool impossible to see (museum quality restoration)
The colors, the well drawn border and the details are amazing. You can see the stylized palmettes of the Karagashli, the complex field of the Afshan pattern and large rounded florettes arranged on a diagonal system between rows of flame-like and star-like flowers, with smaller flowers heads arranged on the stem; like you can see in the Textile Museum in Istanbul Lot N 715 (CARPET WITH FLORAL DESIGN, Caucasian, 18th century, from the Ciftlik Mosque in Erzurum)
A very interesting piece with a complex design.

Chinese rug. Last quarter 19th century. Beautiful colors combination, animals, boats, houses. Size 2,93 x 2,12 m. The color palette, soft tones and clear field are typical of rugs of this period. These rugs were woven with high quality wool and the pile was left long. The reason was that these rugs were made in northern areas were the winters are extreme. these type of pieces gave heat to the home.
