Patola Saree from Patan, Gujarat India. An entire piece of saree (approx. 4 meters long) made of double ikat work in Vorha Bhat design, typical design for well off Ismail merchant clan. All in silk with one end of golden threads weft in plain weave. Est. age : first half of 20th century. Overall condition is fair. Complete centerfield but with some disintegrations on the side border.
