a fine, old Chodor 'Ertmen-gul' main carpet, Turkmenistan, probably mid 19th century. 355 x 235cm (11ft 8in x 7ft 8in). Wonderful colours, lots of pile, but also uneven wear and several areas of damage. More images available upon request.
