Baluch poshti. Probably from Khorossan, 4th quarter of the 19th century. Excellent condition with only slight corrosion to the brown. All natural dyes. This small rug was probably once the pile face of a larger scale pillow or sack. The larger size format is more rare for Baluch weavings from Persia and more familiar in Afghan groups. Size = 2'3" x 3' Inv # 14821.
